Hi Stephen!
I have a lot of ozi explorer maps (.map files), that are correctly calibrated (and I used them to sail in my laptop with oziexplorer). I would like to ask you if there is any way to import them directely to TMJ, without having to manually creating each .tmj map using map organizer to use them in TMJ.

Thank you.

Pato.-

PS: I have the feeling that somebody has had to ask this before, but despite I looked in the forum, I couldn't find it. Sorry if that was the case!

Hi Pato,

I'm afraid there currently isn't any way to automate this process since the calibration method used in the MapOrganiser is different from that used in the Ozi files, so you'll still need to manually find the top/bottom/left/right extents of the map.

The MapOrganiser does have a few command line options to automate some of its functions, but this is mostly intended for using the OpenStreetMap tile download functions. I could extend these options to include automating the File/Open Image File... function, but this would still need the map extents to be entered/calculated manually.

Use this command for more info on the existing switches:
java -jar TMJ-MapOrganiser.jar -h

Regards,
Stephen
